The Costa del Sol’s big autumn fair, and one of the few with fixed dates.

Fuengirola’s feria honours the Virgen del Rosario and runs 6–12 October — the same dates every year, which is unusual and makes it easy to plan around. The procession for the patroness is on the 7th.
It is a resort-town feria rather than a destination one: a fairground by the river, casetas, horses in the mornings, and a town that carries on working around it. If you are already on the coast in October it is the best week to be there; if you are not, it is not a reason to cross Spain.
